Zone Athletics Carnival

Dear parents and students,

The weather report has predicted showers later today.

As stated on the note there is no set back up date for the Zone Field Events Carnival. This is owing to Narrabeen Sports Complex being booked solid this time of year.

Therefore the carnival will go ahead today except in the case of extreme weather.

All students competing are advised to bring wet weather gear.

Regards,

Mr Moses

P.S We are short on Castle Cove singlets this year due to the size of the Zone Team. We'll make do as best we can today. Students are allowed to compete in their regular sports uniform with white Castle Cove shirt.

Training Friday 12th August (on)

Dear PSSA soccer/AFL students and parents,

The council website says that all fields are open. However we have recieved some rainfall overnight.

Training is on for both soccer and AFL.

Both sports will be doing modified drills to avoid students falling over on the wet ground this morning.

It may be a good idea to also bring a small towel to wipe down any wet/dirty knees so that students are more comfortable in class this morning.

AFL players - a change of shoes is recommended.

Kind Regards,

Mr Moses

Dear PSSA players and parents,

It will come as no surprise that AFL and soccer have both been rained out today. Netball may still go ahead if the Lesuire Centre playing surface is deemed safe to play on.

Netball players are to wear their uniforms regardless.

We are hoping for better weather next week to kick off our Term 3 PSSA games.

Regards,

Mr. Moses
